EASY POP ART MAKE-UP TUTORIAL| DANIELA BROUSSE
“Pop is everything art hasn’t been for the last two decades. It’s basically a U-turn back to a representational visual communication, moving at a break-away speed…Pop is a re-enlistment in the world…It is the American Dream, optimistic, generous and naïve.”
I love make-up and I think all of you can see it, when I decide to watch and get to know more about it I found the pop art make-up tutorial, I really thought it was so hard to create as I never tried something so different. For me make-up was only the natural look, as far I could go was wing eyeliner and bold lips.
When I tried to create the Pop Art make-up look, I could not believe what I saw I was in love with it and I decided to create this look in front of the camera.
I got some inspiration from Pinterest, tutorial on YouTube and read some information about Pop Art on wikipedia.
Pop art is a movement started in mid-1950’s and late 1950’s in United States, the most famous artists were Eduardo Paolozzi and Richard Hamilton in Britain, and Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns in the United States.
Pop Art is a mix of tradicional fine art by including imagery from popular culture such as advertising and new. Pop art employs aspects of mass culture, such as advertising, comic books and mundane cultural objects.
I enjoyed so much creating this look, I was so happy with the results as it was my very first time trying this kind of make-up.
